Mission Statement
La misión de la Iglesia Episcopal de la Resurrección es ser comunidad que ama y sirve a Dios y los unos a los otros, ser comunidad que:
- Proclama las Buenas Nuevas de Jesús Resucitado en nuestras vidas y en nuestro mundo;
- Celebra todos los Sacramentos de la Iglesia, especialmente el Bautismo y la EucaristÌa;
- Ora y rinde culto en el idioma en que cada persona comunica mejor con Dios (principalmente en el español en este momento);
- Honra los costumbres y tradiciones Hispanas;
- Enseña y afirma el testimonio de la tradición Anglicana;
- Reconoce y nutre los dones diversas que todos hemos recibido de Dios.
The Mission of Resurrection Episcopal Church is to be a community of love and service to God and to each other which:
- Proclaims the Good News of Jesus Resurrected in our lives and in the world;
- Celebrates together all the sacraments of the Church, especially baptism and Eucharist;
- Prays and worships in the language in which each person feels closest to God (principally Spanish at this time);
- Honors the customs and traditions of Hispanic cultures;
- Teaches and affirms the witness of the Anglican tradition;
- Recognizes and affirms in each other the diversity of gifts that God has given us.
